Summer Camp 2024
We are proud to be bringing another great year of Summer Camp to Julington Creek Plantation!
Our camp is located at the JCP Recreation Center, open to JCPCDD residents/members only, limited to 55 spots per week (except week 9, capacity is reduced) and is available to kids 6 to 12 years old. Please note the camp hours are from 7:30am - 5:30pm.

Week 1: June 3rd - June 7th
Week 2: June 10th - June 14th
Week 3: June 17th - June 21st
Week 4: June 24th - June 28th
Week 5: July 1st - July 3rd (No camp Thursday the 4th or Friday the 5th)
Week 6: July 8th - July 12th
Week 7: July 15th - July 19th
Week 8: July 22nd - July 26th
Week 9: July 29th - August 2nd
Camp hours are from 7:30am - 5:30pm. Our morning drop off is between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM and pick up is anytime between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM. If you are picking up your child early (for an appointment for example) and would like them to be ready, please let the Camp Director know that morning or feel free to call or email your Lifestyle Director.
Daily Schedule:
7:30am - 9:00am: Regular Drop Off
9:00am - 10:00am: Morning Routine/Snack
10:00am - 12:00pm: Pool
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch/Change Clothes
1:00pm - 4:00pm: Rotating Group Activities
4:00pm - 5:30pm: Movie/Snack/Pickup
Parent Handbook - Upon registering, you will be emailed a copy of the Parent Handbook. Please read the document as it contains all the vital information for a successful camp experience. If you have any questions, please e-mail your Lifestyle Director.
All campers are required to complete a swim test provided by our Aquatics Department. The test will be conducted on Mondays during camp and will only need to be completed once if participating in multiple camp weeks. The test consists of one lap in the Competition Pool and treading water for 1 minute. If your camper does not pass, they will be required to wear a swim vest. They can re-test any number of times but can only take the test once per day.
You will be responsible to provide lunch every day. We will also have a morning and afternoon snack break. Please provide a snack for the morning snack. For the afternoon snack, you may either provide a snack or cash to buy a snack from the Creekside Cafe.
We will not be traveling offsite for field trips this year, but instead will be bringing in special guests and extra fun activities each week!
All of our counselors are CPR/First Aid Certified and are required to complete a background check as well as training prior to camp.
Important Registration Information

We are processing all remaining registrations through Jumbula. Due to technical difficulties, we are no longer utilizing JCP's internal CivicRec software. If you have already registered, your spot is confirmed and no additional steps are required. This is only pertaining to NEW registrations as of 2/5/24 when registration re-opens.
Participants are required to pre-pay and pre-register ONLINE ONLY for all weeks that he or she would like to attend. Jumbula’s online software offers secure checkout through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use this, you may checkout as a guest then input your credit/debit card accordingly. If you do not have access to a computer, you may come to the Front Desk at the Rec Center and use our tablet to complete registration and payment.
On the registration homepage, please click the green “Register Here” button. On the next page, PLEASE CLICK THE YELLOW EXPRESS REGISTRATION BUTTON at the bottom. At this time you will either need to create a new user account or log in to your existing Jumbula account if you have used one elsewhere.
Once you’re signed in, you can now click on the desired weeks you would like to register for. Please fully complete the registration form and all prompts for payment. Once you have completed all registration & payment requirements, you will receive an email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please log back into your account and check your cart to ensure you have fully submitted your payment. All registrants will receive a 2024 Camp Handbook with more details upon registration and payment.
Our 2024 pricing is $225.00 per week. We do not offer single days. If camp is sold out, you may add your child to the waitlist for as many weeks as you would like via the online registration only. If a spot becomes available, we will add your child to the registration, send you an invoice, and then follow up with an email contacting you to let you know. At that time, you can choose to accept or decline the spot where you will then pay the balance by logging into your Jumbula account, or we will remove your child from the registration and move on to the next person in line.
Refunds and requests to change dates must be submitted in writing to our Lifestyle Director Maddie Dorsey at [email protected]. If we can accommodate the date change, you will be notified and there will not be an additional charge. Refunds will be issued less the $35.00 processing fee per transaction. Refund Policy - Refunds must be requested in writing through email to your Lifestyle Director by 2pm the Wednesday before camp starts for that week. Example - If you wish to refund camp starting on Monday June 3rd then you must submit a written request by Wednesday, May 28th. All refunds will be processed less a $35.00 processing fee per transaction.
REMINDER: If you would like to unenroll your camper and get a refund, you must write a written request to Maddie Dorsey. DO NOT REQUEST A REFUND THROUGH PAYPAL.
